Fundraising
Waves to Wine is a ride to raise funds for the National MS Society. There is a modest registration fee, but riders are asked to raise a total of at least $350 in pledges.
Asking friends and family for pledges may seem awkward at first, but you may be surprised at how willing many people are to contribute. Remember, you aren't demanding anything -- you are simply letting people know about the cause you are supporting, and giving them the opportunity to be part of it. Just by spreading the word around of your participation, you may find that you can raise $1000 or more, earning you one of the MS Society's Waves to Wine jerseys!
